Jimmy Liu has merited an award for outstanding performance in the clinic and prior to his degree, Jimmy Liu practiced massage therapy and martial arts for a decade. While searching for the internal energy within him, Sifu (Master) Liu traveled to China to train extensively with Dr. Wang. Dr. Wang introduced a modern technique to most effectively strengthen Jimmy Liu's healing abilities. This technique called "Trigger Point Acupuncture" has dramatically accelerated the healing process in comparison to traditional Acupuncture. Jimmy Liu has earned two black belts in Chinese Kung Fu Karate and Lameco Eskrima. As a practitioner of Tai Qi Chuan, Jimmy Liu uses this exercise to balance the yin and yang for the mind, body and soul. Words from a Master, Becoming a healing practitioner has always been one of the things that naturally extend from myself and my family. I come from a long line of healers; people who have chosen to use knowledge, strength and empathy to heal the pain of others. Anyone can take the classes to become an acupuncturist, but to believe that you were born to heal and to embrace the challenges that follow makes all the difference in the world in the quality and power of a healer. I welcome you to visit my clinic and to allow me to make a difference in the way you feel, the way you look and the way you perceive what acupuncture can do for you. In the words of the master, "You have our undying gratitude." |
Trigger Point Acupuncture Trigger point acupuncture is an aggressive style of Acupuncture. It seeks to eliminate muscular tightness (knots) or muscle spasms by manipulating the needle to cause an involuntary twitch of the muscle or muscle group. This twitching can cause an immediate reduction of tightness and/or elimination of the related problem. Trigger points or spasms of certain muscles or muscle groups can be caused by old or new injuries, bad posture, etc. Trigger point acupuncture can help bring the muscle back to its original state of well being.
